How we use the details you give us on dalo.au. Last updated 30 October 2026.
Who we are
Dalo Marketing is the brand of Josh Bass Dainty, sole trader, ABN 27 564 756 176, Armadale VIC 3143, Australia. In this policy, "we" and "us" means Dalo Marketing.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: your website, name, phone, email, company, the kind of business, its rough size, what you want help with.
- The page you sent the form from, the time, and your internet address, so we can stop spam.
- For the free website breakdown, we read your public home page, up to 20 pages it links to, your robots.txt and sitemap, and the files your home page loads, the way a phone browser would. We never log in or fill in a form. We also ask Google's PageSpeed test to load your home page on a phone. We keep the results for about a day, so the same numbers show when you come back.
Why we collect it
- To reply to you, and to check we can help.
- To give you your free website breakdown and go through it with you.
- To quote and do the work, if you choose to work with us.
We never sell it or add you to a list.
Who else sees it
- Google, because our email and files run on Google Workspace. Your form is emailed to the founders and kept in a private Google sheet.
- Vercel, the company that hosts this website. It keeps short technical logs, and keeps your website breakdown for about a day.
- If we turn on Google Analytics or the Meta pixel, they use cookies to count visits and to show which of our ads work. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Some of these companies store data outside Australia.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it to talk with you or work with you, or as long as the law asks us to.
Your choices
You can ask to see, fix or delete what we hold about you. Email josh@dalo.au or call us and we will do it.
